Happy Birthday To My Mommy

So I got up at 7 to make my Mommy some breakfast. But my Dad had already made her some malto meal and tea. Mom got ready for the day and then we visited until she had to go to work. I made sure the house was all clean and tidy for her birthday party. I had made the cake yesterday and had to frost it today.

We went to Big Boy's for dinner. I had a tuna melt. Mom had a supreme grill cheese. Dad had the seafood buffet.Mom and I had milkshakes to drink.

After dinner we headed home to wait for our party guest to come. Our party guests included my Grammy and Poppy, Aunt Debbie,Uncle Sonny, and Darian. We sang Happy Birthday and cut the cake.

After everyone left I gave my Mom a Pedicure and we watched The Switch. Then we all went to bed. I do believe my Mom had a good birthday.

Mushrooms

Today went I woke up and went downstairs. I made my way to the big picture window to see if i saw any awesome birds or other wildlife. When I looked out the window I saw this little mushroom.

When i saw the mushroom it made me think of the Smurfs. It kind of looks like their homes. I don’t like eating mushrooms because they taste gross to me and I believe there has to be some kind of Smurfs that like in all the mushrooms and they make the mushrooms taste bad to me because I <3 Smurfs. So peolpe of the world stop eating mushrooms because i believe we are destroying the population of smurfs. Please spread the word. Save the Smurfs.

Friday the 13th

I start my day off with getting ready for the day. Had some breakfast and talked with my Mommy. Then i was off to my Grammy & Poppy house to clean their house . One would be surprised how messy and dirty there house is but i believe my cousins are most to blame for the mess they don’t clean up after themselves. I clean both of the bathrooms,the kitchen, dining room, living room and Poppy’s room. Grammy had went to Holland to finalize the funeral plans for Uncle Dewey. When she got home she needed some music for the memorial services. So we went to my house to download the music off of Itunes. I burned the music on a disc and made a playlist. After Grammy went home i had some lunch and started to battle my evil headache.After a hour of waiting for my headache to go away i decide to take a nap. I got up a little bit after 5 and had some dinner.After dinner i did the dishes so the kitchen was clean for making desserts for the lunch after the memorial services. here is a pic of my Yellow Cakies with chocolate frosting.

I also made a Apple Carmel desert. here is it pic.

I know the Cakies taste yummy but i could not taste the apple dessert because peolpe would know i had tried it. But it smelled yummy.

After the deserts were all do i watched some tv and went to bed to read for a bit. Finally i went to slee

70 degrees and sunny

Today was a great weather day. I started my day by doing some chores inside like doing the dishes and laundry. After I had gotten most of that done.
I decide to read and listen to music outside. Here is some picture of me and Pixie.

The bugs were out and wanted to eat me and the vehicles on the road were kind of loud. But I guess I can deal with that to have so awesome warm weather. Well that was my day. i feel I got to do alot of things today.

Mother’s Day

I woke up at 6:40ish the sunshine was so bright and awesome to see. I took care of my bedding and decide to read my book. i read my book until i was almost falling asleep. So i decide to take a nap. The next time i woke up Uncle Rich and Aunt Joy were up too. Pretty soon the rest of the family woke up. For breakfast we had biscuits and gravy it had some bacon in it. After breakfast we got ready for the day. By the time i was all ready Mom and Dad had packed the car all up and were chilling outside.

Then we were of to head home. We stop for gas and next door was a Dunkin’ Doughnuts. Dad got coffee and I got a peach tea. I was so excited about the tea but when i started drinking the tea I could taste some coffee in the tea. So i ended up needing a new drink. We stopped at on of the oasis and i got a chocolate milkshake. For lunch we went to the Wheel and had some great food.

When we got into town we tried to go see my Grammy and Poppy but they were not home yet. So we ran home and unloaded the car and got the plant for Busia. When we got to Busia’s house we thought she was not there. But she was on the phone so we when in to her house. Mom and Dad visit with Busia i decide to take a walk. On my walk i saw this very interesting Squirrel.

We went home for a bit until G&P got home then me and Mom went to visit them for a bit. I think the day was pretty good.

Derby Party Day

We started our adventure at 10:30. We ran to Village Market to see if there was any deals. But we did not find any we needed. So we headed to Benton Harbor to go to Henry’s Hamburgers. At Henry’s Hamburgers we had burgers, fries, green bean fries and a large chocolate milkshake. Most of the food was yummy but the green bean fries were not so good. After lunch we went to a used store behind Henry’s. My Mom found a skort and some shirts. Dad found a cookbook by a chef he likes and a knife that the people in Alaska use to cutup and skin seals.
Then we headed to the party. When we got there we snacked on vegetables and ranch dip and Velveeta with meat and salsa in it. Other guest arrived some i knew and some I did not know. when it was time for the meal we had brisket, ribs, chicken, BBQ pork, beans,potato salad, corn pudding, deviled eggs, broccoli salad, and a lot of desserts.
When it got close to time for the race Aunt Joy sold pick for who was going to winning the race. We bought 11 slips out of the 4 cups. We ended up with 10 different horses names. When the race started we had high hopes of winning big seeing how we half of the horses. In the end we won $1. After the race was over most of the guest left.
The rest of the evening i just listened to people talk and snacked on cookies and chocolates. When it was time for bed i got the pullout bed set up and then listened to my awesome music until i fell asleep
