Crazy time's at Mcdonald's

Today at Mcdonald's after having lunch with my mom. Went an African American man was heading to the restroom said hi to me and I nodded to him. Then went he come out he said hi to me again so this time I said hello to him. He then asked my mom if she was married and she said yes. Then he asked me if I was engaged or married. My answer was no. He then asked my mom what she would think about me going out with him to dinner and my mom said it was ok but it was up to me. He asked for my number but I did not really want to give him it. So I took his name and number. Then he walked away but came back to ask me to stand up so he could see how I looked. He said I was sexy just like him. He told me we should go to a movie and dinner. I told him I would think about it. Now I am wondering want I will do if I ever see him again. I don't think I would really want to go out with him but it is nice went people see you as beautiful and want to get to know you more.

Day 13 Table

This is a table that my Busia gave to my Dad. It lived in the house for a couple years in the living room until we got tried of it attacking us with it's evil corners. Then it move to my Mom's reading room from plants in the winter. Then it moved outside to hold plants for the summer. But right now it has only a watercan on it.

I could not pick just one person the is a hero to me so I decide to do a dictionary definition. Some of my heros are people in my family, firefighters, police officers, paramedics, nurses, doctors, and celebrities that do good things for the world and other people.

My Dad cooks on the weekend for us so here is one of his creations. He is a great cook in my opinion.

Mother nature decide to make the weather crazy it is gloomy and windy. This made for a weird picture. But I still like it.

I have decide to do the photo a day challenge after seeing a couple different people do this last month.

Books read in August

Beastly by Alex Flinn is a twist on Beauty and the beast. I have wanted to see the movie verison of this book for awhile. The Help by Kathryn Stockett was a great read I wanted to read the book before i saw the movie to see how the movie was compared to the book. I enjoyed the book more then the movie. A Need So Beautiful & A Want So Wicked by Suzanne Young were great I can't wait for thr next book to come out. Sleeping Handsome by Jean Haus was about a girl reading to a boy in a coma. I have read 38 books to date.
